Bộ đôi cha-con gái từng đoạt giải Emmy, Ron Cephas Jones (This Is Us) và Jasmine Cephas Jones (Blindspotting) đã công bố các đề cử cho Giải Emmy 2021 lần thứ 73 vào sáng thứ Ba, mang đến những bất ngờ thú vị cho những người yêu thích các loạt phim truyền hình.
Dẫn đầu các đề cử Emmy 2021 là HBO và HBO Max với tổng số 130 đề cử, theo sau là Netflix với 129. Disney Plus đã có một bước nhảy vọt đáng kể so với năm ngoái với 71 đề cử trong năm.
Các bộ phim truyền hình nổi bật là The Crown của Netflix và The Mandalorian của Disney Plus đều giành được 24 đề cử hàng đầu, tiếp theo là WandaVision của Marvel và Disney Plus với 23 đề cử và The Handmaid’s Tale của Hulu ghi nhận 21 đề cử.
